MATERIALS WE PROCESS
OLD CORRUGATED CONTAINERS (OCC)
It is a term used in the recycling industry to refer to used corrugated cardboard boxes. These are a common type of packaging used around the world to transport and store a wide variety of products. Once they have been used, they can be collected, sorted and processed for recycling.
USED BROWN KRAFT
It is a type of recycled cardboard that is obtained from waste paper and cardboard, including corrugated boxes, magazines, envelopes and other brown paper materials.
SORTED WHITE LEDGER (SWL)
High-quality paper that is mainly composed of white or light-colored paper that has been recovered from offices, printing presses, among others. The SWL classification and recycling process is rigorous, since it must be free of impurities, such as staples, clips and other non-paper materials.
SORTED OFFICE PAPER (SOP)
SOP paper is mainly composed of white and light-colored paper, such as copy paper, folders, white envelopes and other office supplies. To be recycled, impurities must be removed, such as staples, clips, labels and other unwanted materials.
COATED BOOK STOCK (CBS)
In general terms, it is a type of recycled paper that is recovered from magazines, catalogs, brochures and other printed materials. It is characterized by having a layer of gloss or matte coating on its surface (not plastic), which gives it a shiny and professional appearance, it is commonly used for the manufacture of high-quality paper products, such as magazine paper, catalogues, brochures and other printed materials.
SOLID BLEACHED SULFATE (SBS)
It commonly comes from the manufacturing of boxes and packaging for high-quality products such as cosmetics, food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, electronics and other high-end consumer products. White Cartonite can be reused in the manufacture of new paper and cardboard products, such as egg cartons, cup holders, among others.
POST-CONSUMER ALUMINUM CAN SCRAP (PCACS)
This refers to beverage cans that have been used and become waste after use by the consumer. They are collected and processed to recover the aluminum they contain and recycle it for use in the manufacture of new products. PCACS recycling is an efficient and sustainable process that helps conserve natural resources and reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills.
